As Eid Weekend winds up, here is a summary of the performances of the latest releases on the box office in Pakistan. Jurassic World has led the Eid Weekend with narrow margin as the movie is doing extremely well. Jurassic World saw a good start on day one and then grew well on day two. The film raked in 5.45cr approx over the weekend and became the only fourth English film ever to hit 2cr mark in a single day after Fast 8, Furious 7 and Avengers Infinity War.
The second movie on the box office chart is 7 Din Mohabbat In which falls just 5lacs short of Jurassic World. 7DMI has done huge business at multiplexes and even saw big numbers at single screens. 7DMI has exceeded the predictions by huge margin by collecting 5.4cr approx over the weekend. The film has also taken biggest opening weekend of 2018 for Pakistani films.So in short in local films 7DMI is leading, second film is Azadi it has come up with massive numbers. The film scored over 4.1cr approx as per estimates. Wajood came in at fourth position with 1.85cr approx Eid weekend which is similar to our pre release predictions. After promos and songs it looked like the film would struggle at boxoffice and that the numbers have come due to Eid footfall. Whereas Na Band Na Barati fared poorly with only 60lacs approx over the weekend.
