Known drama writer and screen play writer, Khalil ul Rehman Qamar lost his cool in a TV show when feminist activist Marvi Sarmad intervenes between his given time and misbehaved with him. He retaliated, and it was tit for tat. He starts abusing her, he being an intellectual stoops so low that he body shamed her too. Well it seems Marvi has ignited him by her continuously misbehaving but what he did is so condemn able. Well on social media this spat has created a war its like Menists vs Feminists or Feminists vs Anti Feminists. Some men are hailing Khalil ul Rehman Qamar as a hero and according to them he has taught Marvi Sarmad a well deserved lesson. More than being personal it seems a clash of two ideologies. The whole debate started with the slogan Mera Jism Meri Marzi
I am shocked at what I have just heard and seen!! Sick to the core. This same man who abused a woman on tv is revered and given project after project because of what? We are as much to blame if not more for perpetuating this thinking! #khalilurrehmanqamar

I personally think it’s imperative that those that stand with the idea of standing up for your rights should write and speak with clarity. A lot gets lost when we try to match jahaaalat with jahaalat, abuse with abuse. There MUST be a difference.

Just saw the obnoxious incident between Khalil Saab and Marvi Sirmad. I see people writing "You can't talk to a lady like that" and that's where the problem lies. It's not a matter of gender. You can't talk to ANYONE like that! Not even an animal. Khalil Saab is a disgrace 🤦🏻♂️🤮

This man has shattered the foundation of desi liberals, feminists & #AuratMarch supporters by a single sentence:
"بے حیا عورت تیرے جسم پر کوئی تُھوکتا بھی نہیں"۔
Salute to you sir. 🖖♥️#KhalilUrRehmanQamar pic.twitter.com/5Nl8VzmyjM— Dr Sohail Khan (@DrSohaiil) March 4, 2020
