After 12 songs and appearing in almost all the seasons Atif Aslam has finally refused to sing for the acclaimed studio.
But wait, stop thinking whose side you’ll be on, it’s not what it seems!
There is no feud between the two parties, Atif just decided to take the much needed break from his consecutive performances and now wants to give time towards his own projects, he said,
“I have said no to Coke [Studio] for this year and have decided to instead focus on my own projects for now”,
“In all, I did three songs during the eighth season. Now I just want to see the response Coke Studio gets this year,” he also added
After hits like Tajdar-e-Haram which got over 18.6 million views its hard to see that such masterpiece like this will emerge, but hey, its coke studio, there is something to look up to.
It seems like Atif is just holding back this time to see what Coke Studio can do without him on board as he claimed,
“Tajdar-e-Haram became immensely popular with listeners last year. I am looking forward to what they have on offer in the coming season,”
