Karachi the city of lights and happenings was formally known as the Queen of the East and she was given this title by Napier who visited Karachi century ago and gave her this title due to its ideal weather still today Karachi’s evenings are matchless where sea breeze blow all over the city. Karachi always has an air of sophistication and in early 60s and 70s it is more like a European city with Trams running around and particularly its Gothic styled architecture of British Raj. Unfortunately this city has not maintain that sophistication and it becomes the victim of poor city management. However the glorious past and memories of Karachi was still cherished by old citizens and we all hope that Karachi will regain its lost glory.
