After the the making of Dramas like Roug and Khushi, Ary Digital has come up with another drama, Khuda Mera Bhi Hai. A drama that will encapsulate the social stigma of Intersex Children.
Potraying Aisha Khan and Syed Jibraan as the parent of the child. Aisha will be tested as a mother when she has to stand up against the world and her own husband to keep her child.
“Our TV channel has often made dramas that addressed societal taboos; this includes projects like Roag that dealt with child abuse and Khushi that was about adoption,”-Ary Head of Content, Ali Imran.
The drama writer Asma Nabeel will be making her debut with this drama, she went through a rigorous research before reaching to the conclusion of going ahead with her project.
“When I was researching the story, doctors told me stories that still give me goosebumps,” tells The Crew Films’ Head of Films Asma Nabeel. “parents either hide the reality and curse the child for the rest of its life, or give it away at the time of birth.”
Khuda Mera Bhi Hai begins airing on 22nd, October 2016.
