Well we all were anxiously waiting for Maula Jatt2 ‘s release date news, as we all desperately wanna see Fawad and Hamza in their Macho man get overs where one is playing the lead of Maula Jatt and the other as Noori Nath. Well shootings and schedules were on track and has been sorted well but there occurred some legal hindrances in the way of production of this amazing flick. The news is that the makers of classical flick Maula Jatt are claiming their rights and accusing Bilal Lashari for copyright violations. Yeah this news is bit shocking since justrecently a leading daily had reported how veteran writer of the 1979 classic Maula Jatt Nasir Adeeb had sold the rights of the movie to Lashari and Ammara Hikmat.

Well to make this issue more clear Mohammed Muttaqi who is the son of director and producer Muhammad Sarwar Bhatti and the CEO of Bahoo Films Corporation, which happens to be the same production house to have produced the original Maula Jatt, recorded his statement in a video message recently, where he said,
“Almost two days ago we sent official warning letters to respected actors of the film to stay away from being part of a illegal making of Maula Jatt by Ammara Hikmat and Bilal Lashari.”
He further added,
“The duo do not have any legal authority to make Maula Jatt and their statement is equal to a joke, that they purchased the copy rights to make the movie from the writer instead of the producer. In the modern, literate world, everyone knows that the rights of the film is kept with the producer of the film. Its title, characters, everything is the film producer’s property.”
The producer Ammara Hikmat to which said about the claims by Sarwar Bhatti
“The malicious claims made by Sarwar Bhatti are false and frivolous. Instead of commenting on this issue in media, we are going to take appropriate legal action against him”.
Well Team Maula Jatt 2 has to realize the fact that its not a book but a movie an they need to get the rights from the Director/Prouducer. Well I condemn the words by CEO Bahoo Films where he targeted the character of Bilal Lashari and his father.
