Well Mehwish Hayat is all over on the social media these days when people heavily criticized her for her award Hilal e Pakistan she was awarded with on Pakistan Day. Recently she has expressed her disappointment over Big B turning down a role just because the character is a Pakistani. Well we have heard the news from Indian media sources that Amitabh Bachan has refused to play a role because it is a Pakistani but earlier he was very enthusiastic over that role, he took that decision after  the tension  between the countries  after Pulwama attack. Mehwish Hayat tweeted a tweet saying ,”If true, this is very disappointing. Movies have the power to build bridges especially when tensions are high. I guess that in the end nationalism trumps everything – I hope that we can also take heed before we gush about all things Bollywood in future”.
