“Cake is breaking stereotypes as the movie revolves around a dysfunctional family but the best thing  about Cake The Film is the fact that it is intent on breaking stereotypes. Cake has shown Zareen as a girl who do smoking.and  also same Zareen is a strong, single and empowered female who goes on fields and command men how to work. Cake has also shown Zara as a woman living in a foreign land all on her own and living life on her own terms. Sanam Saeed and Aamina Sheikh were both in London where they talked to BBC Asian Network about the cliched term. Feminism, they said, is often misunderstood. According to Sanam, she believes in equal rights between men and women, especially when it comes to work related areas. Cake breaks stereotypes by negating the commonly held perception of women being oppressed in the country. The movie projects the lives of two independent females choosing to live the way they like and  they want, but definitely within the boundaries set.
