PTV cult classic and 80s hit, Haseena Moin’s Ankahi is earlier adapted as a musical play. Ankahi 2020 is all set for its premiere. This musical is directed by Dawar Mehmood, this Kopykats production is all set to premiere on 25th March  2020 at the Karachi Arts Council. Dawar announces at his social media: “It is not Ankahi. It is my tribute to Haseen Moin’s Ankahi; 25th March everyone!”. Amna Ilyas plays the  role of protagonist, Sana Murad which was originally played by Shehnaz Sheikh. According to the sources the classic version has been altered to make it relevant with present times. The other cast includes  Sohail Hashmi, Waqar Ali, Taha Humayun, Ali Sheikh, and Shafqat Khan.
