Sultan of Swing, the Legend Wasim Akram’s biopic is on work, the announcement was made in PSL5 opening ceremony. The biopic will going to feature the Legend’s professional side as well as will cover some of his personal aspects. The project is directed by Adeel Niazi, and co-produced by Arslan H.Shah, the biopic will be titled ‘Akram: An Era.’ Wasim Akram shares his views post the announcement,”The fact that people are making films on cricket and, more importantly, sports stars, is not only a good sign for the film industry but for the sport as well. Movies are a unique portal to engage a whole new generation. I am looking forward to participating in the production and I cannot wait to see how this pans out.” said Wasim Akram.
