Well Chai Vs CocaCola fight these days are all over the internet. It would be not wrong to say that Coca-Cola has initiated this tussle. TBH quite a desperate and foolish attempts and in a way unethical too by Coca-Cola. Surprisingly, there is not just one commercial, but a series of commercials which are deliberately targeting Pakistan’s favorite beverage i.e. CHAI.!

Below is the frame by frame comparison on how I feel Coke has totally copied the Tapal TVC in order to appeal to a much larger audience and probably boost their sales, probably :

#CocaCola #Zaalima this is the limit of copying 😒 #Tapal

The height of utter desperation you can see in the latest TVC where CocaCola has totally copied Tapal’s beautifully executed ad Tum, mein aur aik cup chai featuring Sanam Saeed and Adeel Hussain just by replacing tea with Coke! It seems unethical to target a tea brand and copy pasting it Frame to Frame. It seems like Coke has insulted the feelings of all Tea lovers. Well, Tea lovers have tweeted tea appreciation tweets and tweet appreciation posts which were a perfect shut up reply to Coke. Chai has its own place and you have your own. No need to make such whimsical comparisons in my opinion.

Tea is indeed the most popular much liked, in fact the most loved beverage in Pakistan. It has a cultural importance, it is an everyday drink. Have you ever heard anyone saying come at my place over for coke. Also, every social interaction is marked by the consumption of tea together. Chai has its own importance and special place in consumers heart and mind. The Khushboo, Mazaa and Zaiqa of chai  is totally irreplaceable plus a feeling of making and enjoying tea has its own emotional attachment with Chai. For a tea lover time, season, occasion and all the stupid reasons ads are suggesting are useless because love for CHAI is forever.
