According to latest reports, it was the heartthrob Fawad Khan, the superstar who was first approached for Akshat Verma’s directorial venture Kaalakaandi, for the role which is now being played by Saif Ali Khan. According to Indian Express, the movie Director Verma, said that even though Saif Ali Khan was his first choice, however at one point the makers of the movie did approach Fawad Khan for the same role as well. “Fawad was supposed to be one of the actors we talked to, when the project was with UTV. It was around 2013” Well Fawad Khan did his debut Bollywood movie Khoobsurat back in 2014.
