Dukhtar, the epic story of a mother and daughter’s trek across the country to save the girl from arrange marriage, has received its fair share of positive reviews around the world. The movie has premiered at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival on 5th September 2014 and was released by Geo films in Pakistan on 18th September 2014.
Now, the good news is that Dukhtar will be available for downloads on iTunes! The first ever Pakistani Movie to achieve that level!! Though the movie has been doing good from the start, it still comes as an immense moment of pride for us! Dukhtar was also selected as Pakistan’s Official entry in the category of Best Foreign Language film for the 87th Academy Awards, but was not nominated.
