Who is he? a Star maker.Who is Shoaib Mansoor this question arises in my mind when I watched that super hit and beautifully made drama serial Alpha Bravo Charlie back in 90s as a child. I really wanna see the genius behind that excellent super hit serial which was people’s favorite. However sadly I never got a chance to see him as Shoaib Mansoor used to keeps a low profile and never make any appearances in Award shows or even in his movie promotions.
Shoaib Mansoor started his glorious journey in 80’s from PTV as TV and music director. He directed the classics TV serial Ankahee and comedy series Fifty fifty memories of it is still cherished by the people. Shoaib Mansoor is a brilliant music director, Vital signs is his baby and he is the one who created stars like Junaid Jamshaid and Rohail Hyaat. He is the maker of the great song Dil Dil Pakistan who is now considered as the second anthem of Nation. Then the serial about army life Alpha Bravo Charlie won the hearts of the Nation. This serial is still remembered as one of the most cherished memories of 90s.
Shoaib Mansoor is the person who unarguably has the sole credit of revival of Pakistani Cinema it is his Khuda Kay Liye which brought people back to the cinemas.Shoaib Mansoor stance is to bring the serious cinemas by using it as a platform to raise issues related women rights and other. Both of his movies Khuda Kay Liye and Bol adress serious issues like religious extremism, population, women right issues. He is the one who created Stars like Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan. His upcoming movie Verna is addressing the issues of rape and harassment. However these issues are grave but Shoaib Mansoor has very artfully made these movies, with brilliant music and beautiful in making these movies are not less than masterpieces and the title of the movies are very artistically sequenced “Khuda Kay Liye Bol Verna”.
