As the month of November rolled in, various industry big shots and actors started congratulating and promoting Jeewan Haathi and we wondered what’s the hype about?!
Here’s what we gathered about this dark comedy! Produced under the mantel of Matteela Films, its a joint
direction effort of the famous duo Meenu Gaur and Farjad Nabi. Zinda Bhaag (2013) was also their venture! Written by Fasi Bari Khan, produced by Shailja Kejriwal and co-produced by vikas Sharma Jeewan Haathi has some really successful and renowned names in it’s credentials!!
The cast of the film includes Samiya Mumtaz, Hina Dilpazir, Naseeruddin Shah, Saife Hassan, Fawas Khan, Adnan Jaffar and Nazarul Hassan.
When we asked Hina about the movie and her role in it. She seemed pretty excited about it, she is known as one of the best names when it comes to comedy, the actress was also happy to work with Naseeruddin Shah. “I’m playing a role of morning show host and my husband (Naseerudin Shah) owns the TV channel where I work,”- Hina Dilpazir.
The film was shot in Karachi and the legend Naseeruddin Shah came to Karachi to partake in the shoots!
The short Movie is set to release on the 4th of November, the right kind of humor we need in these dark times of indo-pak tension!
