The co vocalist of Josh band Rub Magon is starring in a Hollywood flick ‘The Black Prince’ which is set in per-partitioned British India. Rup Magon is playing the second lead role of Arur Singh in the film, which no doubt the backbone of the script.
“I feel very very priviliged to be a part of this project because not only it is a story that needs to be told but its also our history, and to be involved in a project that not only speaks about our history and makes me learn it along with giving me a chance of sharing the screen with phenomenal actors like Shabana Azmi, its a complete honor” says Rub Magon.
Rub furter added, “The character of Arur Singh, is of a very complex man. He was not only the right hand man of the Maharaja but also the only desi figure in his life. Maharaja Duleep Singh was raised in the courts of England as a royal figure because he was stolen from Lahore.”
