Last Thurdsay an event held in Arts Council Karachi which was attended by Sabri’s family as it was in the memory of his death anniversary though the event was held earlier because of last ashra of Ramazan, there the Minister of Culture Syed Sardar Shah announced that the academy that PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari promised is all set and will start working from the coming August!
Art council accepting Qawali as a form of arts is helping and supporting the cause,moreover Farid Ayaz a well known Qawwal has agreed to help in setting of the academy. Hoping that this academy will help in carrying forward the legacy of Qawali to next generations.
