Doctor Anwar Sajjad, renowned scriptwriter, voice-over artist, fiction writer and actor passed away on 6th June i.e Thursday in the evening, due to a prolonged illness. Dr Anwar or also know as Dr Enver died at his residence in Raiwind, Lahore. Anwar Sajjad excelled in short story writing and fiction writings. besides that his voice-overs and acting skills are also well known. He was a mentor to several other artists in the Industry. He was starred in numerous PTV productions and was also nominated for an award, regarding his performance in drama serial Saba aur Samandar. His notable published fiction work includes Chauraha, Janam Roop, Khushion ka Baagh and Neeli Notebook. Some of his famous TV plays that he wrote includes Picnic, Raat ka Pichla Pehar, Koyal and Ye Zameen Meri Hai.
