Well Ali Zafar in one of interviews to Bollywood Hungama expresses his keen desire to work with Shahrukh Khan, when he was asked that what he will ask from SRK if he is given a chance too, his reply was “When do I get to sing for you (SRK)?” Ali shares his memories when SRK and he met on dinner after Ali’s cameo for the film Dear Zindagi. “He mentioned that he really liked my song Rockstar for his movie Zero. He told me that ‘I am going to be playing a dwarf in my next film’ and then asked whether I would ‘let’ him use my song… and I had said, ‘by all means’.” Ali shared, he further added, “But unfortunately, due to the unstable political climate, it never worked out.”
