Who can forget Ali Khan the talented singer and music sensation, who topped the charts for several weeks with his first hit Saathiya in 2006. Since than he is working for music industry with full determination and we must Salute as he hasn’t got disappointed with the ups and downs our pop industry faced.

Tweetistan

and we would like to Thank Mr.Zain Khan for gooood photographs of Ali Khan … seriously good pictures are blessing too 😉

After Saathiya, Ali Khan did several drama OSTs for different channels and came back with another beautiful song “Koi Aye Na”

But the good news is that Ali is part of Coke Studio Season 9 (WOW) which is airing from 13th August and before that Dance Kahani, a Pakistani dance movie which is  releasing on 5th August and Ali Khan has done some great work in terms of Music for the film.

So, we got the chance to ask few questions from our Saathiya Guy (yes he is and will remain Saathiya guy for all of us <3)  related to the Dance Kahani

Your experience of working with the Dance Kahani team

Well it was a great experience.after my first meeting with the director Omer Hassan,i knew they were aiming for something new…Pakistan film industry has never tried making a movie on such topic and you can’t dance until you’re compelled to and that’s where i came in.

What motivated you to do this project?

My greatest and foremost motivation was the concept itself…we don’t really see real dance numbers coming out of our film industry so i saw the opportunity to be a trendsetter and jumped right in.

Your experience of making and singing a song for a movie

I admit it wasn’t as easy as i’d thought it would be.The big question was, how do you create a perfect balance between western music and a melody that sounds fresh but not foreign so yea it took me a while to figure that out. once melody was in place, it didn’t took me long to lay down music on top of that.
